What this tool does

No more wrestling with Excel layouts: fill in your business (tax ID, phone, address), the client, quote number and validity, add items row by row and quantity × unit price is calculated for you. Choose “pre-tax + 5% business tax”, “tax-inclusive prices” or “no invoice”, and the amount is also written out in Chinese financial numerals, as Taiwanese quotes require.

Add your logo, company stamp or signature image; there are signature lines for you and the client, and long quotes split into pages automatically. Download an A4 PDF to email, or save images to send straight on LINE.

Your business details are saved on this device for next time; “Start a new quote” clears the client and items and gives a new number. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is uploaded; 3 a day without an account, 10 a day once you sign up.

FAQ

How is business tax calculated?

“Pre-tax + 5% business tax”: subtotal × 5% (rounded to the dollar) is added on top. “Tax-inclusive prices”: unit prices already include tax, so total ÷ 1.05 is the pre-tax amount and the difference is the tax. “No invoice”: no tax is added.

Is the amount in Chinese numerals written automatically?

Yes — the total is written out in Chinese financial numerals automatically, the way Taiwanese quotes show it.

Do I have to re-enter my business details every time?

No. They’re saved in this phone’s or computer’s browser and are there next time; on another device you fill them in once more. Nothing is uploaded to the site.

What if there are lots of items?

Up to 60 items. If they don’t fit, the quote splits into pages automatically, with the total, notes and signatures on the last page.

Does it cost anything?

Free: 3 a day without an account, 10 a day once you sign up.
