What this tool does

Every platform counts differently: an IG post allows 2,200 characters and 5 hashtags; a Threads post 500; X counts each Chinese character as 2 and every URL as 23; a YouTube title is 100 characters and the description 5,000; a LINE Official Account text bubble is 500. No need to look them up one by one: paste once and everything is listed, with anything over the limit in red.

The IG feed shows only about the first 125 characters before “more”: the tool marks what shows first so you can move your key line to the front.

Text is counted in your browser only and never uploaded; the limits follow each platform's official help pages, with a verification date, and the app is the final word when a platform changes them.

FAQ

How many characters is an emoji?

Most platforms (IG, FB, Threads, TikTok) count an emoji as 1 character; X counts emoji and Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters as 2. The tool already applies each platform's own rule.

Why only 5 hashtags on IG?

Since 2025 Instagram limits hashtags in a post to 5 (down from 30); posts with more won't go through. Keep the 5 most relevant.

Is my post uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is counted in the browser on your phone or computer and the text never reaches a server; it is only remembered in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off.
