What this tool does
Sellers of food, supplements and skincare dread being reported: a single “detox”, “boosts immunity” or “eliminates fine lines” can mean a fine of NT$40,000 to NT$5,000,000. Paste your copy and pick a category to instantly highlight risky words, grouped as medical claims (the heaviest fines), exaggerated, misleading, needs proof, and needs a disclaimer.
It checks against the TFDA's food and cosmetics advertising criteria (including annexes), the examples in the 2026 Food Advertising Compliance Guidelines, the 14 approved health food benefits, and the Fair Trade Act (claims like “No. 1”, “best” and “guaranteed” need proof). The same word can mean different things in different categories (e.g. “whitening”: not allowed for food, allowed for cosmetics), so choose the product category first.
Every risky claim comes with officially permitted alternatives (e.g. “eliminates fine lines” → “reduces the look of fine lines”, “improves your constitution” → “adjusts your constitution”); tap once to swap. Keywords can't catch claims implied in other words (“you'll sleep well after taking it”), so use “AI deep check + rewrite”: the AI reads the whole text, lists the risks, and gives you a version that's safe to publish.

If my copy passes the check, am I safe from fines?
Not necessarily. These are reminders based on officially published examples and rules, not legal advice. Regulators judge the overall impression of your copy, images and videos, so nothing being highlighted doesn't guarantee there's no problem. Have important copy checked by a professional.
Is my copy uploaded?
The keyword check runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Only when you tap “AI deep check” is your copy sent to AI for analysis (it's never made public or used for anything else).
Can food ads say “whitening”, “detox” or “boosts immunity”?
No. Food claims that change body functions or appearance (slimming, whitening, detox, boosting immunity, brain boosting) are exaggerated claims, with fines of NT$40,000 to NT$4,000,000. Claims to prevent, improve or treat disease (lowering blood pressure, improving allergies) are medical claims, with fines of NT$600,000 to NT$5,000,000. Use the official wording instead, such as “adjusts the constitution”, “aids digestion”, “promotes metabolism” and “nutritional supplement”.
What can skincare ads say?
Officially “generally permitted” wording such as moisturizing, nourishing, reduces the look of fine lines, repairs skin, whitens skin, soothes dry skin and oil control is fine. “Eliminates fine lines”, “repairs damaged skin”, “anti-inflammatory”, “activates hair follicles”, “anti-allergy” and “pharmaceutical grade” are not.
